Pricing insight instead of hours, marketing that creates invitations, and an operating rhythm built for a non-Sacral design.
Most business advice is written by and for Sacral beings: hustle, volume, consistency, post daily, do more calls. A Projector who follows it builds a business that works for exactly as long as their reserves last.
Projectors can build excellent businesses. The model just has to be different in four places: what you sell, how you price it, how people find you, and how your week is structured.
You are designed to guide energy, see systems, and recognize what other people cannot see about themselves. That is a high-value product, and it does not require you to produce volume.
Good Projector offers:
Poor fits: agency models where you owe hours, high-volume service delivery, anything where the price scales only with your time.
If it took you twenty minutes to find the answer, that is because it took you fifteen years to be able to find it in twenty minutes. Hourly billing punishes you for being fast. Price per engagement, per outcome, or per package.
A practical progression: start with a fixed-price audit, add a premium strategy day, then productize the most common finding into something that sells without you.
Waiting for the invitation does not mean waiting silently. It means creating the conditions in which people recognize you and ask.
A workable Projector operating rhythm:
Not every client is your client. A Projector working with someone who does not genuinely recognize them will be second-guessed, undervalued, and drained no matter how good the work is.
Screen for it: does this person light up when you talk? Did they come to you, or did you talk them into it? Are they asking your opinion or telling you what to do? If the recognition is not there at the start, it will not appear later. Decline politely.
Admin, delivery grunt work, scheduling, editing, follow-up — hand it off as soon as you can afford to. Every hour of repetitive execution you keep is an hour of your limited capacity spent on something a Generator would enjoy more and do better.
Strategy tells you to wait for the invitation. Authority tells you whether this particular invitation is correct. Emotional Authority Projectors should never sign on a discovery call — sleep on it. Splenic Projectors should trust the quiet first hit. Self-projected Projectors should talk it out loud with a friend and listen to their own voice.
Not hours worked, not posts published. Track: how many qualified invitations arrived this month, what your average engagement value is, and how many days you felt bitter. Bitterness rising means the model has drifted back toward hustle. Adjust the input, not your willpower.
